Visitation Policy & Information

visitor information, hospital visit,

At Saint Alphonsus, we take great care to provide you and your family with the most positive healthcare experience possible. The below information is meant to help guide you if you are planning to visit a patient in the hospital.

When visiting Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise all visitors must check-in, each day, prior to entering the building. This quick process helps us create a safe and secure environment for all we serve.

At all Saint Alphonsus hospitals visiting hours are 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM, with the exception for the immediate members of a patient’s family. While we do not have a limit on the number of visitors a patient can have at one time we prefer 2-3 visitors at a time. Visitor numbers must also be appropriate for the physical space and care being given.

All visitors to our Behavioral Health Unit must be over 18 years of age and one visitor is permitted at a time. Visiting hours are:

  • Pediatric patients (17 years and younger): Monday through Friday, 5:30 – 6:30 PM and Saturday & Sunday, 3:00 – 5:00 PM.
  • Adult patients: Monday through Friday, 6:00 – 7:00 PM and Saturday & Sunday, 3:00 – 5:00 PM.

Please note, any visitor exhibiting cold, or flu symptoms should refrain from visiting until their symptoms are gone.

We know that choosing the right physician and hospital are very important decisions for you and your family and we thank you for choosing Saint Alphonsus for your visit.
