EpicCare Link
EpicCare Link is a free, secure, web-based application connecting community and affiliate-based providers and staff to patient information in the Saint Alphonsus Health System Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
The EpicCare Link online portal provides:
- Access to patient information including demographics, chart review, future appointments, diagnostic results, discharge summaries and procedure notes – when and where you need it.
- Real-time messaging and care updates for patients you referred or admitted to Saint Alphonsus Health System.
- View your surgeon’s day of and future surgery schedule.
- Secure messaging with the Saint Alphonsus Care Team.
- No calls or faxes necessary – You can request consults, place orders, and review medical records.
- Easy access with no software or hardware to maintain.
- Optional email and/or text notifications.
- Optional document upload functionality.
We’ll keep you informed about your patient’s care through automated messages, giving you the information you need to plan your patient’s follow up and continuing care plans.
Within EpicCare Link you will receive the following notifications:
- New lab, imaging, and test results.
- Hospital and discharge summaries.
- Consultation notes.
- Orders or referrals placed by Saint Alphonsus Health System Providers.
Can my staff request access to EpicCare Link?
Yes. EpicCare link access is configured to each user’s role – only giving them access to the information they need. EpicCare Link users often include:
- Clinic staff for affiliated physicians and community physicians, who do not have inpatient privileges.
- Rural hospitals and health clinics.
- Skilled nursing facilities, hospice, home health agencies and long-term care facilities.
