A Care on Demand visit, also known as a telehealth, virtual, or video visit, lets you see a healthcare provider via video on a smartphone, tablet, or computer using secure software, from your home or a private location.

A Care on Demand visit is similar to a clinic visit, but it happens over video from your home or another private location. You can ask questions, discuss treatment options, adjust medications, or get a prescription. If needed, you may be referred for in-person care.

The cost is similar to an in-person visit. Co-payment, co-insurance, and deductible amounts apply. You may receive a bill after Saint Alphonsus bills your insurance. Check your summary plan description or contact your insurance plan for coverage details.

Have a photo ID, insurance card(s), and current medication bottles ready.

Video and voice data are encrypted to protect your privacy. Virtual visits are not recorded and comply with all privacy regulations of in-person visits.
