This 100-bed hospital that spans more than 240,000 square feet, features a complete diagnostic center, 6-suite surgical operating theatre, pre/post-operative holding and recovery rooms, 10-bed short stay observation unit, spacious and private patient rooms, and an 18-bed intensive care unit. Patients & visitors should park in the lots connected to the location they are visiting. Parking for the Heart Center and Birkeland Maternity Center is in the parking lot directly in front of the building.

  • The Bistro, located on the first floor at the main entrance of the Heart Center and Birkeland Maternity Center, is open Monday through Friday 7 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
  • The Cafeteria, located on the first floor of the main hospital, is open Monday through Friday 7 a.m. - 6 p.m. and weekends 8 a.m. - 2 p.m.
  • The Corner Bistro, located on the first floor of the main hospital, is open Monday through Friday 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. and weekends 8 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Idaho Time Sensitive Emergency accreditation

Saint Alphonsus Medical Center in Nampa is designated by the State of Idaho's Time Sensitive Emergency Statewide Council (TSE) as a Level II Stroke Center (Primary Stroke Center). This designation represents an evidence-based approach to highly organized and comprehensive systems of care in the event of a stroke, and was achieved by meeting or exceeding various criteria related to stroke center personnel, education and training, services offered, and performance and quality measures.

Joint Commission

Saint Alphonsus Medical Center in Nampa has been designated a Level III Trauma Center by the Idaho Time Sensitive Emergency (TSE) Program and the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare. This designation certifies the hospital of capable of providing advanced trauma life support prior to transfer of patients to a higher level of trauma center, like SARMC, which is a Level II Trauma Center.

Idaho Platinum Performance Achievement

Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center and Saint Alphonsus Medical Center – Nampa have received the American College of Cardiology’s NCDR Chest Pain ̶ MI Registry Platinum Performance Achievement Award for 2023. Saint Alphonsus is one of only 262 hospitals nationwide to receive the honor. The award recognizes Saint Alphonsus’s commitment and success in implementing a higher standard of care for heart attack patients and signifies that Saint Alphonsus has reached an aggressive goal of treating these patients to standard levels of care as outlined by the American College of Cardiology/American Heart Association clinical guidelines and recommendations.

The American College of Cardiology has recognized SAMC- Nampa for its demonstrated expertise in treating patients with chest pain. Certification is based on rigorous onsite evaluation of the staff's ability to assess, diagnose and treat patients who may be experiencing a heart attack.
