Inpatient Food Service - Unit Host

All hospitals in the Saint Alphonsus Health System feature Trinity Hospitality Services patient meal service program. This is a Best Practice concept that features a host/hostess from the Food & Nutrition Services team that visits our patients bedside for the specific purpose of taking the patient's meal order while at the same time ensuring that patients understand the menu, their diet, which in many cases is new to that patient, and how the new diet and the menu work in unison to provide the best individualized dining experience possible. Our meal ordering software program interfaces in real-time with the patient's medical orders and thus ensures that the patient's meal plan is up to date on a meal-by-meal basis and is as compliant as possible given any dietary restrictions/nutritional needs. Registered dietitians are available for more advanced diet education/intervention as requested.

Our patient menus feature a variety of options all prepared in house on a made-to-order basis using the highest quality products available, including fresh, locally sourced (in season) fruits and vegetables, quality proteins, and fresh baked goods.

Saint Alphonus-Boise Place Setting Café: 
6:30 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., 1:00 a.m. – 3:30 a.m. Sunday-Saturday

Saint Alphonsus-Boise Solid Grounds and Solid Grounds 2 Coffee Bars: 
6:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. Monday-Friday

Saint Alphonsus-Nampa McAuley Café (12th Avenue): 
7:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. Mon – Fri, 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., Saturday and Sunday

Saint Alphonsus-Nampa Bistro (I84 & Garrity): 
7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday

Saint Alphonsus-Ontario Café duJour:
