Language Assistance and Medical Interpretation Services
Saint Alphonsus honors the sacredness and dignity of every person. One of the ways we do this is by providing free aids and services to people with disabilities to communicate effectively with us through the use of qualified sign language interpreters and written information in other formats (large print, audio, and other accessible formats).
We provide qualified medical interpretation free of charge for patients and their family members needing language interpretation and patients with sensory loss at Saint Alphonsus. Patients, family members and Saint Alphonsus colleagues can request interpreters 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If you do not speak English, are deaf, or hard of hearing, you can have interpretation services provided for you at no charge. In addition, we provide Video Remote Interpretation (VRI), ASL Sign Language interpreters and telephone interpretation.
If you need these services, contact our Community Services Coordinator at 1-866-727-6248.
