Saint Alphonsus speakers provide guidance with Emotional Balance

Annual Laugh-Learn-Lunch event features panel of experts

Boise, Idaho – May 14, 2013 – The Saint Alphonsus Foundation and the Women’s Healthcare Fund invites the public to celebrate Mental Health Awareness Month with a luncheon on Friday, May 17th at the Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center McCleary Auditorium. A panel of mental health professionals will provide real world coping mechanisms and strategies on cultivating a balanced emotional approach to dealing with issues like fear, depression and perfectionism.

One in six adults will be affected by depression at some stage of his/her life; women are twice as likely to experience symptoms. If fear, depression and other challenging emotions are dominating your life or the life of a loved one, the Laugh-Learn-Lunch event offers insight and strategies.
