Move will expand quality care to residents in the La Grande area

Boise, Idaho - Saint Alphonsus Health System and Grande Ronde Hospital in La Grande, Oregon have signed an affiliation agreement that will enhance medical services for residents of La Grande and the surrounding communities. Through this affiliation the two health care organizations will use technology, collaboration and on-going programmatic development to increase access to services and health care providers.

“Both Saint Alphonsus Health System and Grande Ronde Hospital share a similar Vision and Mission,” said Sally Jeffcoat, President and CEO of Saint Alphonsus Health System. “This affiliation helps us build upon an existing relationship and strengthen our commitment to keep patient care local.”

The nationally recognized partnership between Saint Alphonsus and Grande Ronde in telemedicine is a key example of our shared cultures, mutual goals and proven ability to work together effectively to benefit our patients and our communities. Additionally, the proximity of Saint Alphonsus Medical Center- Baker City and Grande Ronde Hospital provides unique opportunities for integration of health care services in those communities.
