Brooke Thrasher Named Vice President and Chief Human Resource Officer for Saint Alphonsus Health System

Brooke Thrasher has been named Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer for Saint Alphonsus Health System by Odette Bolano, President and CEO, Trinity Health West Region.

Thrasher will provide strategic direction, vision, and guidance in integrating Human Resource strategies, operations, and services to advance and align strategy and structure with talent across Saint Alphonsus Health System.

She replaces Stacy Pewe, who has taken on an expanded role within Trinity Health, leading Human Resources at ministries across Illinois, Indiana, California, Oregon, Idaho, Iowa and Nebraska.

“Brooke has been a dedicated and influential member of the Saint Alphonsus leadership team and we are pleased to welcome her to our system-wide executive team,” said Bolano.

Thrasher brings more than 20 years of experience in healthcare, 18 in human resources to her new position. She has served at Saint Alphonsus since December 2018 as CHRO for Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, and previously as Director of Human Resources for Saint Alphonsus Medical Centers in Nampa, Ontario, and Baker City.

Prior to Saint Alphonsus, Thrasher worked for Providence St. Joseph Health and Swedish Health Services in Seattle, Washington, where she held a variety of progressive Human Resource roles leading immigration, affirmative action, and regulatory compliance programs, and serving as Human Resource Client Manager for Providence Health System- Northwest Region.

She is a member of the Board of Directors of Life’s Kitchen, a non-profit organization that provides educational resources, tools and employment opportunities for young adults to work in the food service industry.
