Legacy of Connection
We are honored to celebrate all our colleagues during Nurses Week & Healthcare Week. Our theme “Legacy of Connection” was founded on the Sisters who forged a Legacy of shared connection that we build upon today, with each other and our work. Together, our daily contributions carry on that Legacy and help shape a compassionate and transforming healing presence in our community for years to come. Nurses were greeted at the entrances at all our hospitals with coffee and muffins to kick-off their day. Guest speakers covered topics like Fall Prevention and Legal Aspects of Nursing. Drawings for baskets and more! Across the Saint Alphonsus system, we had food trucks and more food trucks! Colleagues were invited to connect, gather, and share a meal or a bite with a fellow colleague and just simply connect and pause. We are so grateful for this community and the relationships we have forged over the years. Thanks to ICCU and Norco for their continued partnership, mutual respect and support.
