A. Patrice Burgess, MD is a family medicine physician with over 30 years of practice experience. She was the first female President of the Idaho Medical Association and still serves on that board as Idaho's Delegate to the American Medical Association.

Nat’e Guyton, DM, RN, MSN, CPHIMS, NE-BC was recently appointed President of Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center.

Lisa Nelson, MD

Dr. Nelson has worked as a Hospitalist at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, Idaho since 2009, and has been involved in resident education for the duration of her time at Saint Alphonsus. Dr. Nelson became the Medical Director of Medical Education for the Saint Alphonsus Health system in 2020.

Robert Perko, MD is a family physician at SAMG McMillan. He is a SAMG Primary Care Medical Director and the current chair of the Physician/APP Wellness Committee.

Megan McCarren, MD

Dr. McCarren is a board certified internist and addiction medicine specialist. She completed her residency in internal medicine at the University of Washington in Seattle and her fellowship in addiction medicine at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City.

Jenny Jin, MD

Dr. Jin completed her orthopedic residency in the Harvard Combined Orthopedic Residency Program and stayed at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston for a fellowship in adult reconstruction. She joined the SAMG Joint Preservation and Reconstruction group when she moved to Boise in 2018.

Kathryn Conlon, PhD, MPH

Dr. Conlon is an Associate Professor of environmental epidemiology at the University of California Davis (UC Davis). She is also Co-Director of the Climate Adaptation Research Center.

Ethan Sims, MD

Ethan Sims is an emergency medicine physician with EMI and the medical director for sustainability at St. Luke's Health System. He founded the Idaho Clinicians for Climate and Health in 2021 and is a passionate advocate for sustainable innovations in healthcare.

William Wepner, MD

Dr. William “Bill” Weppner, MD MPH is an internal medicine physician and clinician-educator based at the Boise VAMC in Boise, Idaho. He is currently an Associate Professor of Medicine and Boise Section Head for the Division of General Internal Medicine for the UW School of Medicine.

Helena Snider

Ms. Snider is a Clinical Research Coordinator for the Neurology team here at Saint Alphonsus with five years of experience in clinical research. I have supported clinical trials from Phase II - IV, including oncology treatment and registry studies.

Jackie Whitesell, MD

Dr. Whitesell is determined to improve the life of patients with ALS. Her research team is working hard to find trials that improve our knowledge of ALS in our community.

Dr. Gering has been practicing as an independent Family Physician in Ontario, Oregon, since 1996. He is Board Certified in Family Medicine and Hospice and Palliative Care.

Dr. Valenti is a board-certified neurologist and epileptologist. He primarily serves performing inpatient neurohospitalist work at the Saint Alphonsus Nampa hospital and has an epilepsy clinic in Nampa, ID.
