Idaho Business Review Publishes “Power 25” List
Odette Bolano, FACHE, President and CEO of Saint Alphonsus Health System, has been recognized by the Idaho Business Review as top influential power player in healthcare in the state of Idaho. She joins 24 influential leaders who, based on their reputation and contributions, are making a significant impact on the industry and across the state.
The IBR Power 25 honorees represent diverse healthcare professionals and administrators, community leaders, politicians and others, recognized for their leadership contributions, reputation and impact to the region.
“I have had the privilege to experience first-hand the decisive and compassionate leadership that Odette has exhibited in hitting the challenges the pandemic has thrown at her,” said Kent Bailey, Saint Alphonsus Health System Board Chair. “I have come to respect her many talents and the quality of her leadership. She is truly an outstanding leader and I can think of no one who deserves this honor more than she does.”
Bolano is active in the region, serving as a board member of the Idaho Hospital Association, Boise Metro Chamber of Commerce, Boise Valley Economic Partnership (BVEP), Idaho Business for Education (IBE), Boise State University Foundation Board, and Boise State University College of Health Sciences Board of Ambassadors. Most recently, she was appointed to the board of directors of IDACORP and Idaho Power.
She was honored a TWIN (Tribute to Women & Industry) award recipient by the Women and Children’s Alliance and recognized as one of Idaho Business Review Women of the Year in 2019. In 2020, she was nationally recognized by Modern Healthcare as one of the top 50 Most Influential Clinical Executives in HealthCare in the country and by the Idaho Business Review as a 2020 Idaho CEO of Influence. She is also an active member of the Carol Emmott Fellowship Board, a national organization committed to mentoring exceptional healthcare women leaders, helping them achieve their highest potential and influence as leaders in healthcare.
Bolano began her career as a nurse before moving into administrative and leadership roles in Texas, Arizona and California. She served as President of Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise from 2015-18 and was named President and CEO of the Health System in August 2018.
