Travis Leach Elected as Chairman of the Board
Travis Leach, President of Saint Alphonsus Medical Center – Nampa has assumed the position as Chairman of the Board of the Nampa Chamber of Commerce. As Chairman of the Board, he will be instrumental in working closely with the Chamber CEO to develop strategic and operational plans for businesses in Nampa to grow and prosper, particularly through this pandemic and economic recovery.
“The Nampa Chamber is excited to have such a community-driven leader take over as Chairman of Board,” said Mitch Minnette, CEO of Nampa Chamber of Commerce. “When Travis was chosen, we had no idea that COVID-19 would hit our nation and our community, but now that we are seeing Canyon County hit so hard, we have comfort in knowing we have a healthcare expert to guide and support us.”
Leach joined the Chamber board in 2018 and is an active member of the Nampa community.
He has more than 23 years of healthcare experience, serving as Chief Operating Officer for the Family Medicine Residency of Idaho before joining Saint Alphonsus Health System and Trinity Health in 2010. He will serve as Chairman of the Board for two years.

I've appreciated our partnership with the Chamber and look forward to serving local businesses in our community and supporting them as they grow and thrive,” Leach said. “We have our hands full in the times of this pandemic, but I am confident we will come out on top as a community, stronger than ever. I look forward to being a part of something so important to the future of Nampa.”
Besides his service to his community, Leach served his country for eight years in the Army National Guard and the Army Reserve. With his healthcare and military experience, he has a deep passion and understanding for caring for those most vulnerable, especially for those suffering with mental health. Travis earned his bachelor’s degree from Washington State University and his MBA from the University of Phoenix.
