Urgent care demand has been on the rise with more than 11,000 urgent care centers opening nationwide since 2019, and Saint Alphonsus is keeping up with this growing demand with the South Nampa Urgent Care Center opening.

The South Nampa Urgent Care, located at 215 E. Hawaii Avenue, will offer services between 8 AM to 8 PM, seven days a week. “Urgent care centers are becoming an important part of our primary care landscape in Idaho, President of Saint Alphonsus Medical Group Dr. Mark Nassir said. “Access matters and this opening offers us another opportunity to meet the Nampa community closer to home.”

The South Nampa Urgent Care Center opens a month after the Ten Mile Urgent Care located in Meridian. Since its opening The Ten Mile Urgent Care center has seen more than 500 patients.

"I am deeply grateful to have recruited staff members who previously worked for Saltzer and delivered exceptional care to this community, demonstrating their dedication,” Practice Manager for Ten Mile and South Nampa Urgent Care Centers Abby Nieto said. “We hope to achieve the same success at South Nampa as we have with the reopening of the Ten Mile urgent care."

Saint Alphonsus acquired the two urgent care centers from Saltzer Health on April 1.
