The Saint Alphonsus Foundation is pleased to honor the 2012 Distinguished Citizens. William H. Moseley will be honored as Individual Distinguished Citizen and the Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Idaho Affiliate will be honored as 2012 Corporate Distinguished Citizen at a dinner Thursday April 26, 2012 at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center.

William MoseleyWilliam “Bill” Moseley is owner of W.H. Moseley Co., an import/export broker of frozen and dehydrated potatoes and other vegetables. "We are pleased to celebrate Bill Moseley,” said Jill Aldape, Director of the Saint Alphonsus Foundation. “Bill is an extraordinary person who has given so much to Saint Alphonsus and to the community at large in ways that will make a lasting impact on countless lives."

Moseley has shared his successes with the community and has generously contributed to many philanthropic organizations and programs including Saint Alphonsus, the American Red Cross, Boise State Athletic Association Scholarship Fund, Idaho Foundation for Parks and Lands, Women’s and Children’s Alliance, YMCA Horse Thief Camp, the Boy Scouts of America and the Boys and Girls Club of Ada County.

The Susan G. Komen for the Cure was founded to end breast cancer. With the largest network of cancer survivors and activists, the group works tirelessly to empower people, ensure quality care and energize efforts to find a cure for breast cancer. "The Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Idaho Affiliate is more than a footrace on a sunny day when ladies wear pink boas,” said Jill Aldape. “The partnership between Saint Al's and Komen means that women who would not otherwise be screened for breast cancer are getting mammograms and being treated when necessary - even when cost is an issue. Together, Saint Alphonsus and Komen are saving lives in Idaho."
