Founding Sisters Society

Sun beam coming through dark clouds

The Founding Sisters Society is proud to be in its second year leading the movement for improved health and wellness in our community, as well as honoring the six Dominican Sisters that came to Ontario over 100 years ago to start Holy Rosary Hospital. The purpose of the Founding Sisters Society is two-fold:

First, it continues the healing mission of the founding sisters by advocating for and funding the expansion of healthcare projects and education in our community.

Second, it provides members with a quarterly opportunity to get together in a relaxed environment and hear from health experts on health-related topics important to our community. The healing ministry provided today by Saint Alphonsus - Ontario is only possible due to the work of the six Founding Sisters.

We can best honor them by ensuring that their mission continues.

When becoming a member of the Founding Sisters Society, you become part of a group of women supporting the movement of and advocating for the improved health and wellness of our community.
