Perinatal Mental Health Services

perinatal mental health

At Saint Alphonsus, we are proud to offer a perinatal mental health program called the PEACE Program – Perinatal Emotional Adjustment, Counseling, and Evaluation.

This program is designed to help women and families develop skills to manage depression, anxiety, stress, and self-esteem/confidence issues related to pregnancy and the postpartum period. Our counselors educate their clients on the etiology of perinatal mood and anxiety disorders to not only bring an understanding to the emotional adjustment of parenthood, but to the biological adjustment as well.

Conditions Treated:

  • Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders
  • Depression
  • Generalized Anxiety Disorder
  • Panic Disorder
  • Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder
  • Post Traumatic Stress Disorder
