About
Philosophy of Care
My choice to become a physician came early as I enjoyed studying anatomy and physiology as a young student. I also grew up accompanying my father on construction projects, repairing family cars, and while working at a bicycle shop throughout my high school and college years. After starting medical training, orthopaedic foot and ankle surgery was a perfect fit as I could combine my interest of medicine and mechanics with the nature of the foot and ankle. I find it highly rewarding to restore function in individuals who have lost the ability to live life due to a disease process or injury. My patients find that I have a great deal of compassion and interest in them and in seeing their lives improve. My approach to treating patients is highly individualized as I offer various treatment options and support each person with their desired plan.
