Slipped on ice and broke my [body parts]. There was talk of sending me to a more metro area to have the surgery needed. Although a very complex repair, Dr Lara was able to put me back together again. I couldn't be more pleased. Highly recommend!

Dr. Lara is kind and listens with the intent to understand. He did exceptional work on both my hip replacements. I would definitely want Dr Lara to do other joint replacement surgeries, if needed.
Dr. Lara was very friendly, east to talk to never seemed rushed and treated me with respect. He answered all my concerns and questions. He explained the x-ray results, what they meant about my prognosis very well. He was very encouraging.

Took about a week to get the results 6X my MRI on my right knee.
Great customer service from the front desk and the MA. I really appreciated that Dr. Lara's reviewed the MRI and x-rays with me. He explained the treatment plan and I was able to receive the injection at this visit.
I was impressed with the amount of time Dr. Lara spent answering my questions and explaining the options to repair my left hip problem and limp that resulted from the femur fracture.
All staff very kind - prompt - and supportive. Up until 2 months ago, I was working as an RN (50 yrs. of work) I appreciated the respect & concern.
I couldn't believe *Dr. Lara called me THE DAY AFTER my visit and personally went over my problem with my knee and hip. I usually get calls back from 2 nurse, not 2 doctor, at St. Luke's. Was very impressed with the call and have already referred him. Also, the radiology tech was very efficient and took me right in.

I really appreciate the care I received from Dr Lara and his staff.
Dr. Lara is an extremely knowledgeable in his field, and provides the type of care and understanding that I would expect from my doctor. His care and in-depth explanation of the surgery procedure were exactly what I needed to prepare for this going forward. He never faltered with answering my questions about the procedure, or the level of recovery that I might experience. This provided me with the necessary tools to plan my recovery and expectations going forward. I have seen other Total Knee Replacements surgeries and was a little apprehensive about having it done. This is where Dr. Lara proved to excel in his approach, techniques, demonstration of the prosthesis and work ethics. Most of the surgeries that I have seen that were used to close the wound used staples, not sutures from inside out. This makes the wound heal must faster and provides for less scarring. Another point is that after surgery, Dr. Lara visited me and told me that he had take more off the bone to allow a proper fit of the prosthesis. In all, my experience with Dr. Lara was superior and will spread his praises all over Garden Valley that has a High rate of TKR. Thank God for Dr. Lara!!!

I am new to town & was referred by a doctor who is new & doesn't know my health history either. The receptionists were so helpful with many calls about scheduling. The doctor, his sports physical therapist & his assistant *Laura spent good time with us answering questions my husband & I had. I also called with some questions on separate occasions after my visit and *Laura - *Dr. Lara's assistant was very patient and helpful with my questions.
Dr Taylor Lara is one of the best doctors I've ever had. He patiently explained the hip replacement procedure, what I would experience pre and post surgery, and the optimum and prohibitive hip positions and movements to expedite the healing process.His follow-up is excellent and he and his staff (Medical Assistant Laura Burch) respond quickly to questions or concerns. I recommend him and his staff highly.

First experience was good and I'm somewhat anxious to commence treatment. Problem has improved with rest and being careful while standing/walking.
I am in constant pain my knee is constantly swollen all the way down to my ankle. Basically told to take Tylenol and just wait, 6 months later still in pain and still swollen.
This was my first visit with *Dr. Taylor.
