About
I am happy to provide the full spectrum of Obstetrical and Gynecologic care spanning across all ages. I have a special interest in adolescent care, LGBTQ+ health, management of irregular or abnormal bleeding, cervical dysplasia, preventative care, and both low and high-risk obstetrics, among many other things. I am proud to offer minimally invasive surgical interventions where indicated, and alternatives to surgery when not. It is my privilege to be a part of a family's growth, delivery of a child, and the healing process in the postpartum period. I pride myself on being accessible and flexible, as I understand a person has many commitments in their lives and sometimes it takes more than one discussion to fully work things out.
Philosophy of Care
Prioritizing women's health has been a passion of mine for many years, initially in the public/international health sector and then eventually leading me into the field of OB/GYN. I enjoy building trusting relationships with my patients that allows me to fully care for them and set a good foundation for their future obstetrical or gynecological care. Each patient has their own unique issues and there is not a one size fits all solution for every problem. It is important to me to take the time to understand each patient's priorities and care goals. This helps me to provide them with all of the information and tools they need to make the best decisions regarding their own health. The most rewarding part of my job is finding an effective or definitive management option for a patient that they are satisfied with.
