Philosophy of Care

My approach to patient care is to be an "advisor" to the patient and their family to allow the patient to make informed decisions for themselves. I never like to tell patients what to do - I assist them in making their own decisions. This creates a "teamwork" approach that I have found works well. I give the patients as much information and education on the particular condition we are treating as I can.

The provider was wonderful. The worse part of the process was (and is) managing through St Al鈥檚 messaging system. Not patient-friendly at all. I would so much prefer to speak directly with the Drs staff

I really like Dr. Codina and value his knowledge and experience. He is very good at explaining issues concerning my heart to me which is appreciated very much. I wish I didn't feel quite as rushed as I do, but perhaps it's my fault for not paying attention to how much time is spent in the examining room with him. I am very glad I found Dr Codina and would gladly recommend him to others.
