About
Dr. Arnold is a board certified OBGYN who has been working in the Treasure Valley community since 2020. Previously, she was an attending physician and assistant professor at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C. In her medical practice, she cared for patients, taught medical students, and helped develop standards to improve patient safety and healthcare quality. She has a heart for community service. During 2018-19, Dr. Arnold donated her time with Health Volunteers Overseas at hospitals and provided medical training in Bhutan and Uganda. In Thimphu, Bhutan, she volunteered as an attending physician at the National Referral Hospital where she created an evidence-based curriculum for a new OB/GYN residency program and provided clinical training for interns and medical residents. She continues to support this hospital as the project director for volunteers through Health Volunteers Overseas and through remote training. Dr. Arnold completed her obstetrics/gynecology residency at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, N.C. She earned a medical degree at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Miss., and a bachelor's degree in biological sciences with honors from Vanderbilt University in Nashville.
Philosophy of Care
Providing compassionate, patient-centered care and supporting women in their health needs is the foundation of my practice. For pregnant patients, I love working in a collaborative practice with physicians and midwives to create a personalized, comfortable, and safe birth plan and experience. For gynecology patients, I work to listen to their concerns and achieve their goals through shared decision making. This care includes a focus on minimally invasive surgeries whenever possible to minimize pain, hospital stays, and recovery time. I am excited to be part of a comprehensive womens' healthteam that supports female patients through all stages of their healthcare. I'm accepting new patients at our Boise clinic location and will be delivering babies at the Saint Alphonsus Boise Labor & Delivery unit.
