Philosophy of Care

Dedication and hard work are what made me go into medicine, and the challenge is what drew me to oncology. We are witnessing an era of success in cancer treatment, success that was unimaginable a few decades ago. Yet cancer remains the most devastating disease. Coping with the burden cancer imposes on patients is not easy. My role as a physician is not only striving to provide my patient the best and most advanced care, but also helping them and their families to get through difficult times with transparency and compassion. My practice is based on scientific evidence, personalized care and clear communication.

She explained things very well, but at the time I was unable to hear much. My daughter was there to take notes. I think the followup visit with Jennifer helped more because I was experiencing the after effects of the chemo and had many questions. I may not have been in a good enough state to hear all Dr. Khaddour said to me.

*Dr. Khaddour is a phenomenal doctor! I was diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer one year ago. *Dr. Khaddour and her team went above and beyond to make me feel that I was receiving the best possible care. *Dr. Khaddour's compassion is only surpassed by her expertise in her field. She cares very much about her patients. I do and will continue to recommend her to anyone that is in need of the same care I was. All of my care @ St. Al's was excellent. From my PCP to my oncologist, my radiology oncologist, *Dr. Berriochoa, my surgeon, *Dr. Prier, my nurse coordinator, *Jayne and all of the staff. I would like to extend my gratitude to all. Thank you!!
