This was my last appointment with Oncology as I was discharged from care after almost six years! Thank you to everyone for the excellent care I received through this entire journey!!

Dr. Schultheiss explained to me that I had had a bone scan last year that I did not recall. After checking MyChart, I saw the procedure listed, read the results and realized that I had never seen results. I am grateful that Dr. Schultheiss brought that to my attention, and I will now pay more attention to MyChart.

Dr Schultheiss is the reason that I continue treatment at this facility. Some of the other medical staff are less than diligent, and are not as knowledgeable or caring as they should be.
My provider in the group, left and Dr. Schulthiess was new to me. He knew my history, so he was prepared for my visit.

One problem was the initial contact people weren't aware of the procdure for Infusions. They did not send me to the correct room (for installaton of a catheter and the blood test). This caused a delay in the start of the infusion prodedure.

Dr. SCHULTHEISS is always great, not much else to say.
When appropriate, he also answered direct questions on the portal so I didn't have to wait for my next scheduled visit to ask.
He gave us knowledge and hope.
I'm sure it will be a fruitful relationship.

Doctor Schultheiss set clear expectations for us regarding treatment and side effects. He listened carefully to my questions and gave clear answers. His treatment effectively treated my cancer.y
The people are very good; I find it odd that I'd been filling out the 9 pg questionnaire, only to have the Nurse interview me and ask me a bunch of questions that are already answered on paper. No one asked me for the questionnaire, so I asked the Dr. He said give it to the Nurse or Admin in the front desk. A-OK.

I am very hard of hearing so can be difficult to actually understand what provider is saying as his voice is very soft. It also is very caring and kind.
This visit was for follow up & comparison of PET scans done 1 year apart. At present I don't see *Dr. Schultheiss on a regular basis.

A new computer system was being put into practice - it was distracting to both myself and staff. Provider and staff were professional but seemed bothered they had to focus more on the computer than the patient they were treating.
He got confirmed what my PC had said about waiting to stop taking aspirin until after I finished with my oncology meds next year. He got back to my PC within 10 minutes of my working with her to approve an estrogen medicine she asked if I could safely take (my CA is estrogen fed). I appreciate the teamwork he and my PC practice.
Overall, Dr Schultheiss listens to and answers my questions. I will start on an aromatase inhibitor and I know there can be side effects, which Dr Schultheiss mentioned, but I did not write-them down, so I am not sure of them. I won't see him for a few months, but I am glad to know I can use MyChart to ask follow-up questions.

All my illnesses hit me at 90 yrs. old. I was on the job 30 years only off 5 days sick not much experience with drs. = I was very pleased.
*Dr. Schultheiss is highly professional, personable, and extremely competent. He instills great confidence and I am very pleased and grateful that he is my oncologist.
The doctor and staff were polite, courteous and did their best to put me at ease. I have ongoing anemia and it may be a precursor to worse things. Only time will tell.

My esophageal cancer, came back in Oct. 21, I told *Jennifer F_____ about my problem swallowing, thought that was a red flag, however for the past two months, I haven't got any treatment. Today 1/12/22 I'm seeing *Dr. Sales for rad. treatment, I can't swallow anything *Dr. Schultheiss want to do immunotherapy but I don't know when that will happen? I'm hoping for the best!

Doctor and all assisting staff very professional at all times. My appointments all set by time - 1st blood draw - wait for results 2nd - Hour later - See doctor for about 1/2 hr. - 3rd go to another room for my infusion and/or injection - When waiting were offered drinks and snacks.

I have hemochromatosis. I come in every 6 weeks to have iron count the questions I answered about provider are from past visits, but also are about the staff who takes care of me when I have phlebotomy.
Dr. Schultheiss has his style, one which I find most gratifying. He is the imminent professional, yet shows the humanity that builds confidence in one who is scared half to death! Despite a better than average knowledge, I have never been 'talked down to' nor dismissed. His advice has been spot on and absolutely directed at the issue involved. He does this through listening, being totally up to date on a patient's status and with a carefully crafted sense of humor!
I was very happy and impressed to hear back from the doctor himself to explain the results of my blood work and plans for the immediate future. Thank you!

Physician had not received a drug/therapy option and it's applicability in my situation. This option has been discussed 3 months earlier with a phone reminder from me 10 days before this appt. with commitment from doctor, he would review it.
Oncology phlebotomist is ALWAYS fantastic. Oncology reception/front desk went out of their way to accommodate last-minute change due to foster child.
