About

Dr. Vaux is an orthopedic surgeon serving patients in Boise, ID and the surrounding areas. After orthopedic surgery residency, Dr. Vaux completed a fellowship at the University of Washington in orthopedic oncology and complex limb reconstruction. He enjoys challenging and complex cases, whether due to debilitating arthritis, fracture, or tumor. Dr. Vaux is married and lives with his family in Boise area. He is a Washington State native and enjoys spending his free time with his wife and 3 young children. His hobbies include running, waterskiing, snow skiing, biking, hiking, Washington Husky and Seahawk football, wood-working, and enjoying the beautiful outdoors! Dr. Vaux has been in practice since 2020, and in Boise since 2022

Philosophy of Care

As an orthopedic surgeon, I have the privilege of helping restore function and mobility and preserving my patient's quality of life. My desire is to provide the same care and treatment that I would want my own family member to receive. I believe in first establishing a relationship and trust with my patients through listening to their needs and goals. Then we can work together to accomplish that goal and get them back to the activities and lifestyle they enjoy.
