After explaining my concerns ([relative] passed away from complications from the same surgery that I was going to have) Dr. Taylor was sympathetic to my concerns and addressed them in a way that calmed me.

Even though this was just a post p check-up, the doctor spent only a minute or two with me. He basically came in barely looked at my incisions, and then said, You're looking good. You can do what you were doing before the surgery. I expected more explanation.
