Philosophy of Care

My philosophy to patient care is predicated on developing a strong patient-provider relationship. I believe in taking a patient-centered approach to practicing medicine, where my patients share in decision making based on their preferences, values, and beliefs. My treatment goals focus on viewing each individual as a unit of mind, body, and spirit, and as such, working with each person to uniquely optimize their health and quality of life is my priority and what I strive to accomplish.

I have wanted a DO for YEARS. I am complex, and your healer....he GETS my strange body, as well as anyone can. [Facility] saw my chart. "We have never seen arthritis like the patient has, outside of a textbook." I am thankful for a healer who is not afraid of my complex body.

He needs some help with his bedside manner he seems a bit rude needs to spend time reviewing files and maybe learning the patient's name before he walks in the room I understand he's a new doctor and he wants to make a statement for his self and show that he's good but longtime doctors who's been at Saint Alphonsus for a while know what they're doing and I was very happy with my previous doctor before he had to retire and I may be switching doctors because he seemed to discount everything I told him about myself and question me like I was a criminal
