About

I am a member of the Advanced Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Medicine team. I received my medical degree and emergency medicine residency training at the University of Iowa. I worked primarily at the Saint Alphonsus trauma center and associated emergency departments. I then transitioned to wound healing in order to practice a different type of medicine, where I can educate and guide patients in their care. I have gained additional training in advanced wound care techniques and hyberbaric therapy. I treat a wide range of wounds, including traumatic injuries, infections, complications from cancer treatment, pressure injuries, edema wounds, and diabetic foot ulcers. Outside of medicine, I enjoy spending time with my family and running, biking, hunting, skiing in the Idaho backcountry.

Philosophy of Care

I believe healing starts with a person understanding their condition, empowering them to actively manage it rather than being a victim of the disease. My goals is to educate patients on the best medical practices, enabling them to make informed decisions.

I have now seen him twice. No Doctor did anything for me at the Caldwell Wound Clinic. This Doctor knows what he is doing and does it or instructs others what he wants done and they have done a wonderful job. He has done more in 2 weeks than 6 weeks at the other clinic!
