Child & Adult Vaccines and Immunization Schedule
We at Saint Alphonsus Medical Group are committed to the health and well-being of our patients. We believe that vaccinating our patients may be the single most important intervention we perform as healthcare providers and that you can perform as a parent or caregiver. We believe in the effectiveness of vaccines to prevent serious illness and to save lives.
We advocate that all patients receive the routine vaccines recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). The recommended vaccines and the schedule by which they are given is the result of many years of scientific study and data gathering on millions of children by thousands of our brightest scientists and physicians.
We recognize that the choice to vaccinate may be difficult for some parents or caregivers. We will do everything we can to provide you with information and answer your questions about vaccines. Should you have doubts, you can discuss them with your healthcare provider.
As healthcare providers, we feel strongly that vaccinating our patients is absolutely the right thing to do to protect all patients. Please feel free to discuss any questions or concerns you may have with any of us.
