Philosophy of Care
As a board certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner it is my responsibility to provide care to those with chronic and complex disease processes. With several years of critical care experience and over a decade in the healthcare field I have become passionate about providing care to those at high risk for severe disease states with a goal of preventing hospitalization and prolonging life. I believe in treating my patient relationships as a partnership with the same time, dedication and commitment I would invest on those closest to me. I care for patients by focusing on them as a whole rather than focusing solely on their symptoms. It is my goal to stay open-minded and ensure that I provide high quality evidenced-based care. It is also my goal to know that guidelines are created for the masses and each patient is a person who needs individualized care.
