We're so grateful for their expertise. I may yet need surgery, but we're doing what we can to get well on our own, for now.

Dr. DeSutter took the time to answer our questions and then made certain we understood his answers. He gave us all the information we needed and thoroughly covered what was to come. He made it clear that there is still the possibility, though small, of another surgery. Then he gave me some real word advice: “if you have to put weight on your foot then only as much as you have to and only on the heel” instead of completely “non-weight bearing’. I read the “My Chart” entry when I got home and it covered everything we talked about throughly and in a way both I and my husband can understand. We do a lot of back and forth interpreting for each other. I know very little [professions] We both love using my chart. It’s very easy to navigate and understand. Thanks again! YOU GUYS ARE GREAT!

I felt rushed in my interaction with the doctor. He answered my questions but I did not feel that he was open to my asking more questions. Otherwise he was definitely sufficient in his care.
