Philosophy of Care

My training and my philosophy focus on helping people maintain and improve their function. This often requires taking into consideration physical, mental, emotional, vocational, and social factors while treating an underlying condition or mitigating its effects. I believe, in all the conditions I treat, that it is extremely important for people to take ownership of their health and work as partners with their treatment team to maximize the benefit they receive. It is a privilege to be a physician and help people improve their quality of life.

Mane the Dr needed some more coffee as I was his first appointment but unfortunately, I felt he did not explain in detail what鈥檚 going on with my back. He just said he reviewed my lumbar scan. He did ask if I had any questions at the end of the exam but by then I kind of felt like he just did not care so I just left. I鈥檓 so sorry to be honest but that鈥檚 how I felt

He really took his time to understand my symptoms and evaluate me. He answered all my questions. He explained all my options clearly and finished with a clear course of action. I felt like he truly listened and that seems rare with doctors. He was very patient and knowledgeable. I feel confident trusting him with my care plan.
