It’s not the provider so much having problems with its amount of time that you can spend with your provider I think when you call in to make an appointment or you have to schedule an appointment after seeing the doctor I feel if you feel you need more time to go over things with your doctor. You should be able to get that time and not feel like you’re being rushed when you get rushed then you get sidetracked and things do not get Scott discussed or gone over especially when you have a lot of medical needs, I don’t think they take that into consideration when they are making appointments with people who have a lot of needs we are paying for the service we should get the proper service we feel we need

I walked in w/o appt. They found a spot where I could be fitted in quickly. The exam went well. I needed an ultrasound. They arranged for that. They sent the report in a timely manner. The man in reception was very helpful. The techs were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The entire experience was very good.

Dr. H, was unpleasant and judged me on my pass. I was in alot of pain and called me an opiate abuser. That day i really needed help with my pain but he judged me on my past. I have a past with opiate abuse but that was 5 years ago. He didn't even talk about another route. He was rude to his nurse and said,today sucks! I don't want to be here and i was his next patient. I miss Dr. Wyatt. I hold no grudge with Dr.H but I'll find another Doctor. St.Alls is a very good clinic and i appreciate the clinic. I kinda understand Dr. H and his position towards me. I kinda understand but the past is the past. I haven't searched for paid meds in many years but I've had a difficult surgery and i was in pain and needed help that day. Yes, i was searching that morning because of real pain. You can look up and see i haven't searched in year's. I am fine now and not in pain. I just want to be treated fairly. I understand this country has a opiate problem but i am NO longer a part of it. Thank you.

Good communicator
I had called previously to get my prescription fill, 1 1/2 weeks before I was out. *Dr. Hotchkiss was out of the office I ended up calling over 10 times w/no resolution I went w/out medication for a week and half and finally got my gynecologist office to refill for me.
Doctor Hotchkiss was punctual, easy to talk to, listened to my concerns, and explained things in a manner I could understand. Answered all my questions regarding previous tests and explained tests he was scheduling for me and gave me a follow up appointment. I was very happy with this doctors way of interacting with me as a patient.
I felt that he was very thorough and seemed relaxed, not rushed, and spent a good amount of time with me. I prefer to be involved with my care and don't necessarily take the doctors word as fact as things evolve and it is difficult to stay current. I felt that Dr Hotchkiss was respectful of me and my concerns.
The doctor has toned down his cockiness in his reactions since my first visit a year ago, I was pleasantly surprised. I am pleased with his referral habit.
Dr. Hotchkiss made me feel heard and was responsive to my needs. He was also transparent in his ability to get back to me with results due to constraints he was experiencing. I have not maintained a PCP just seen whoever was available. I would like to continue to see Dr. Hotchkiss. The lady at the front desk checking me in was kind very helpful and explained well to any questions I had.

My regular physician retired and I had no primary care provider,so I call st.sls referral dept and thyey set me up with this physican. He was very nice and immeadiately made me comfortable. He went over my complete history and meds. And ordered needed labs. I feel lucky to have found a physician I am comfortable with

My complaints are with billing and the fact no division talks or shares their information with each other. I have seen 3 providers and none of them shared what I saw each of them for. It is frustrating.

Dr Hotchkiss is a very pleasant person. Listens and actually hears what you say. Last dr only wanted to talk about himself and his religion.
I had active COVID 2 weeks prior. I called to see if I could get a script of ivermectin, I was told we don't treat with off label drugs for COVID, but then wrote me 2 scripts for off label drugs on my visit. You guys are playing politics with our health and I am not appreciative of it! I got ivermectin from a DIFFERENT DR. and was better in 2 days. You are going to find out fast that you are on the wrong side of this COVID fiasco, and I will leave for another provider in town who didn't politicalize this and instead did what was right for patients! Shame on St. Als.!
