About
I am a member of the Advanced Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Medicine team. I received my medical degree and emergency medicine residency training at the University of Iowa. I worked primarily at the Saint Alphonsus trauma center and associated emergency departments. I then transitioned to wound healing in order to practice a different type of medicine, where I can educate and guide patients in their care. I have gained additional training in advanced wound care techniques and hyberbaric therapy. I treat a wide range of wounds, including traumatic injuries, infections, complications from cancer treatment, pressure injuries, edema wounds, and diabetic foot ulcers. Outside of medicine, I enjoy spending time with my family and running, biking, hunting, skiing in the Idaho backcountry.
Philosophy of Care
I believe healing starts with a person understanding their condition, empowering them to actively manage it rather than being a victim of the disease. My goals is to educate patients on the best medical practices, enabling them to make informed decisions.
