One of the other items I love is when Dr Harrold requests blood or rays I was so happy I could walk down the hall to get services. I thought I would have to make an appointment and come back on another day. When you’re walking with a cane and it’s hard for you to get around. It’s very nice when you can go and get everything done at a one stop shop.

What was really nice was not having to wait a long time.
The provider is good. However it would be nice to have an actual Dr involved with my health care on occasion. The system is the problem. Patients are cattle not people. Money is the biggest driver. Results and treatment are secondary. The issue is the care I could get 14 years ago is not the same care I can get in this current system.
My expectations for this appointment were not matched by the provider's expectations. As a diabetic, I needed to begin with labs and updated meds. The provider acted like there wasn't really a good reason for me to be there beyond gathering data, and that I'd need another appointment to begin addressing my needs.

The provider was asking the health history and unable to find the pertinent medical records for the appointment, so rather than just do it. The option was for him to look for it and let me know if I need to come back to do the [procedure] and misc. as he couldn't find it in system. I called back, got information and hand carried some of it to the office, prior to referral to make sure that is what he needed; however, on the referrals was NOT the reason that we discussed in office. Wasn't listening or what? Never completed Wellness, but did go back in for scheduled labs. Which is much time as I do not live in town. When getting testing done they could see report that he was looking for and stated he can see what they see; however, must not be trained on system. I like the provider, just frustrated at waiting and then not getting things done.

Calvin is a wonderful provider. He's always been very attentive and wanting to help his patients. Bedside manner is awesome too. Calvin's just a great PA.
Calvin has been my PCP for >10 years. He is so compassionate, and I believe I get the best possible care. I mostly see him for routine care for chronic conditions. In this instance, when I messaged through MyChart about a problem, I got a return call almost immediately, asking if I could be there in an hour. My husband, adult daughter, and neighbors are also seeing Calvin now. He's the best.

This doctor is not very easy to work with. I've asked twice for a referral to a chiropractor for my son to get adjustments due to his occasional headaches or restrictions, and he has denied it. I'm not getting the care I'm looking for. I wish he can be less pushy on vaccines.

My first question was about trimers and shakes that I had been having. He ignored the question. He said I had a 100.5 temp and that I needed to call my oncology nurse when I got home. He never even rechecked it before I left. He did look into my eyes and ears and listened to my breathing. I had told him that I had gone to the ER on [date] and proceeded to have 4 weeks of Diverticulitis. He had me take a urine test, but told me he didn't have time to test it, but that he would send me the results. I have heard nothing since. He also sent me home with a bowel test, giving me no instructions except to drop It back to the lab there when done. I took It there on the following Saturday and have heard no results. 6 months ago he put me on a thyroid pill and when I asked why, I was told that my thyroid had stopped working. He hadn't taken any lab test and didn't show me any reason why he started the med. He did have me come back to check on that in two weeks and proceeded to raise the mg but with no explanation why.
No real issues very happy with Calvin Harrold.

I made this appointment over 2 months before because I needed to see a doctor to get my prescriptions refilled. My appointment was at 10:40 and I was told to come at 10:20 to fill out paperwork because I was having to see a new physician (my old one left the practice). I came on time and filled out the paperwork and then SAT and sat and sat. I finally got called back, got my vitals taken and then sat and sat and SAT. At 11:40, I finally went out of my cubical and asked if I was going to be seen that day. My doctor was in the cubical next door working on paperwork. He told me he was very busy and that I needed to be patient. Then he quickly examined me and told me he would send out an order to refill my meds. He also said that I would need to get bloodwork done because one of my medications needs to have bloodwork every so often, but that they would call me to get it done at another time because it had taken so long. I waited almost a week before I called in my prescriptions and he had NOT called them in. And it has been almost two weeks and I have yet to get a call for the blood work. I took some time off of work to meet with the doctor after scheduling the appointment in plenty of time. Because they were so behind, I almost missed a meeting. I understand that things get backed up, but I was never told what was going on and was actually rebuffed when I got impatient- as if I was being unreasonable. That doesn't seem fair. I waited an hour after I was supposed to be seen before I said anything! Not a great first impression to be sure. I had questions for the doctor, but I was so hurried by the experience, I wasn't able to ask my questions. I am thinking about going to a different practice after this.
Calvin is very thorough. He has always sent [name] to specialist when deemed necessary. He makes sure he has records from them and knows what medicine they prescribe.

I have been seeing Calvin Harrold for over 3 years now, he has always be consern about my health. Takes the time to answer my questions. I appreciated his caring & empathetic nature I was very impressed and appreciative. I would not trade him for anyone as my care provider.
Labs were discussed at appointment, not called with result as there was no reason.
I was sent a letter stating my labs came back and everything looked good except my Thyroid !But when I checked the labs in my portal my iron level was high 251mcg/dl the reference range is 30mcg/dl -150mcg/dl that seems to be a significant difference ,especially with the last 2 labs I was anemic May was 19mcg/dl April was 46mcg/dl ? Seems to me something Is not right But no one has the time to do there efficiently.

Dr. Calvin Harrold has been my primary health care physician for over 5 years. I have been very pleased with the time and attention he gives me as a patient. I know he has my physical and mental health as his primary focus when he steps into the room to see me. It is notable that he is busy, and has a full day of patients to see, but I can also observe him shift all of his focus to me and my needs during the time we have our visit. I consider this a valuable skill, one that he has taken much effort to develop. I respect his efforts in doing so.
