Enjoy working with Dr. Parent since he is the one who discovered my condition and has followed my treatment and follow up.
Upon checkout, the receptionist stated she would be sending the referral out over to Intermountain imaging. 10 days later, I hadn’t heard anything, So called Intermountain, and they stated that they had never received the referral. I called Dr Parent’s office, and they said they would send it again. Odd thing, Intermountain had it almost instantly. Unfortunately, scheduling was delayed over a week, due to it not being sent on the 10th.

This website could use some work. It cancelled an appointment with Mart Parent on March 3 and then kicked me off the website. A bit annoying to be sure. Then…inexplicably, I was back on the website. Gremlins.

My experience with this provider was excellent.
ED was filled to overflowing, not enough Doctors and Nurses on duty to process all the needs, yet staff managed to not let it affect the way they were treating patients. They stayed kind and courteous despite some rude patients trying their hardest to push buttons. Carrie and James were amazing, I don't know how they managed to stay so calm, cool, and focused given how hectic the ED stayed the whole time I was there.

It took a few months to get in but Dr. Parent and his staff were absolutely amazing. I am amazed at the difference in what one visit has made on my life!

It is difficult at times to get appointments with *Dr. Parent. Often referred to his PA.
My issues were the results of my current primary care physician during a cardio-work up, since it had been several years since my last cardio exam with *Dr. Steve Writer, and *Dr. Writer was not taking on new referrals, hence, *Dr. Parent on [date] I had a nuclear screening test to be follow by an echo on [date], followed by a 15 day cardiac monitoring. However, when I arrived for my 7:30 a.m. appointment @ St. Al's Heart Ctr. I was informed that my appointment had been scheduled for Baker City, OR, unfortunately they could not find a window for the echo until [date].
Respectful, addressed issues, offered explanations.
*Dr. Parent was his usual professional & personable self.
I enjoyed my visit all my question were answered.
Was very amazed at the way *Dr. Parent explained a previous heart monitor test and what he thought needed to be done.
I had the complete cofidence in Him.
*Dr. Parent has saved my life more times then I want to count! He is a saver!

*Dr. P. is always friendly, professional, informed about meds, etc. He went the extra mile and was pleased with the results of the new heart valve installed in Utah. He was scheduled for back surgery in 2 hr. but gave of his time generously.

My first appointment was canceled with Parent's office. Parent is my husband's heart doctor, that's why I went to Parent. First appt I was told Parent's team would review heart study & call with a plan & appt. After 2 weeks my husband called back & operator said appt had been canceled by Parent's office. We explained problem & operator rescheduled me for [date]. There was no preparation for my appt.
*Dr. Parent takes time to hear my concerns. He prescribed a monitor to be worn for 30 days after I reported having A-Fib in December. This will allow for him to determine if I can stop taking a blood thinner that is expensive.
Doctor was very personable, organized, and knowledgeable!

Also, I asked if my insurance covered CT scan. I asked office clerk to find out. The doctor asked office clerk to find out they said 'no' not covered with out checking. Found out a month later it is covered and now I have to get reimbursed from hospital. What if I hadn't paid up front $250 - I wouldn't have received important info that my numbers are too high.
