About

As a board-certified pediatrician, Dr. Matthew Brown has proudly served the families in the Nampa and Caldwell area for more than 20 years. In addition to general pediatrics, Dr. Brown's special interest in pediatric diabetes has been a key asset in his volunteer work with local area camps, hospital boards, and foundations. As a recipient of multiple humanitarian awards, this father of two and devoted husband understands the true meaning of compassion with a dedication to providing individualized care to each and every patient.

I enjoy treating patients with high quality care during their most important years of development as I would want my own child, neighbor or friend to be treated. I am committed to listening to my patients and their families so we can work together as partners in their care. I especially enjoy building long-lasting relationships with my patients and families.

Everything was great, nothing to do with the provider, but my son did receive the nasal spray for the flu vaccine instead of the flu shot and had a reaction, had been sick for 2 days now, throwing up. Fever, and very weak.

I understand that in todays age we have to only give what insurance can provide. I came from a private doctor who gave me every ounce of attention I needed to feel at ease. When asking for dose suggestions on Tylenol, ibuprofen and Benadryl I was told to look at the label. My daughter is under the age limit so there needed to be a calculated judgment as to not overdose.

My child felt ridiculed and belittled, i was challenged basically by not being a good parent since she is overweight and that I'm not doing anything about this issue. There was more done my the medical assistant than the physician.

Dr Brown is kind and attentive. Though we do like using him as our primary provider, it's almost not worth the headache of the rest of the facility.
