Patients Will be Redirected to Other Convenient Locations

Staffing challenges caused by the current COVID-19 surge will result in the temporary weekend closure of three Saint Alphonsus Medical Group Urgent Care Clinics in the Treasure Valley. Additionally, clinic hours at other urgent care facilities will be reduced by one hour in the evenings, allowing staff to catch up on outstanding work.

Starting January 15, urgent care clinics at 6051 W. Emerald in Boise, 757 E. Wythe Creek Court in Kuna and 11035 Karcher Road in Nampa will be temporarily closed on weekends. Staff will be reassigned to nearby facilities, and patients will be directed to other Urgent Care Clinics: 10583 W. Lake Hazel Road in Boise, the Meridian Health Plaza at 3025 W. Cherry Lane, and the Garrity Clinic at 1150 N. Sister Catherine Way in Nampa. At present, urgent care clinics in Caldwell (315 E. Elm Street, Suite 100) and Star (10717 W. State Street) will remain open seven days a week.

“As the most recent wave of COVID-19 is spreading through our community, more of our colleagues are out sick or isolating due to possible exposure,” said Dr. Mark Nassir, President of the Saint Alphonsus Medical Group. “As a result, Saint Alphonsus is consolidating our weekend staff at select clinics to provide the best care for our patients and communities. We look forward to resuming regular operating hours seven days a week when our staffing resources improve.”

Additionally, all 11 SAMG Urgent Care Clinics will close an hour earlier starting on Tuesday, January 11, to allow colleagues to complete their work. Patients will continue to be seen up to closing time.
