Odette Bolano Serves Breakfast Burritos to St. Luke’s COVID-19 Screeners
In the shadow of St. Luke’s Meridian Medical Center, Saint Alphonsus Health System President, and CEO Odette Bolano issued a friendly social media challenge to St. Luke’s CEO Chris Roth and other healthcare leaders in the Treasure Valley to engage in a random act of kindness. Bolano delivered breakfast burritos to the St. Luke’s employees staffing the hospital’s drive-up COVID-19 testing site.
“We have been so grateful for all the acts of kindness that have been given to us at Saint Alphonsus, and so we are wanting to give back to our generous community. So today I am delivering breakfast to our healthcare partners at St. Luke’s. I’m grateful that we can all work together to care for our community and conquer COVID-19,” Bolano said.
She challenged not only Chris Roth from St. Luke’s, but also Betsy Hunsicker, CEO of West Valley Medical Center and Sean Robbins, President of Regence BlueShield of Idaho. In turn, she hopes each will do something good for a business or someone else in their communities who might need some help and then challenge three other people to do a good deed.
“My goal is to see how many leaders we can engage to join me in random acts of kindness for others at this difficult time. We know that we will get through this and we will be stronger as a community,” Bolano added.
As part of her random acts of kindness, Bolano also delivered breakfast burritos to the Meridian Police Department, to thank them for their work during difficult times.
