Saint Alphonsus Honors Distinguished Citizens

Dedicated Volunteer, Company, Physician Receive Awards

Boise, ID – A lifelong volunteer, a bank, and a beloved physician have been recognized by the Saint Alphonsus Foundation for their leadership and support of the ongoing mission of Saint Alphonsus as part of the Foundation’s 31st annual Distinguished Citizens Award.

“Our honorees have demonstrated extraordinary commitment to our community by giving of themselves in distinct and wonderful ways,” said Jill Aldape, Executive Director of the Saint Alphonsus Foundation. “It is a pleasure to illuminate all their good works.”

Retired local business owner De Zborowski has been selected as the Distinguished Individual Citizen of 2018. Zborowski has used her business savvy, artistry as a floral designer and unique creativity to support the Saint Alphonsus Festival of Trees since 1985.

Wells Fargo received the Distinguished Organizational Citizen Award for service to the community in contributions and volunteer work. Last year, nearly 21,000 team members of the financial services company contributed more than 20,000 volunteer hours to schools, local nonprofits and community organizations.
