Saint Alphonsus Employees & Families

The Saint Alphonsus Employee Assistance Program (EAP) offers free, confidential mental health counseling to Saint Alphonsus employees and eligible family members using their Spring Health benefits. Information about your Spring Health benefits can be found at the bottom of this page. The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) counselors are seasoned licensed mental health professionals and can assist with many types of life concerns, including marital and relationship conflict, stress related difficulties, emotional and psychological problems, career concerns, substance abuse issues and bereavement. They also provide community resource and referral information.

Saint Alphonsus EAP counselors provide morning, afternoon, and early evening appointment times Monday through Friday and can provide in-person or telehealth sessions. An appointment time can usually be offered within one week of your call. Saint Alphonsus EAP can be reached by calling (208) 367-3300 or by emailing EAP@saintalphonsus.org.

Spring Health Mental Well-Being Benefits

Through Spring Health, all Saint Alphonsus colleagues and eligible family members have access to six free mental health counseling sessions per calendar year. The benefit is available at no cost to all colleagues, their spouse or partner, their dependents (ages 6 - 17 and college students), and any person(s) living in their household (age 6+). The colleague and eligible family members don't have to be on the Saint Alphonsus' Aetna Health Insurance plan to use the EAP benefit.

To make an appointment with a Spring Health provider you will need to create a Spring Health account. You can create a Spring Health account by calling Spring Health at 1-855-629-0554 or by visiting trinityhealth.springhealth.com. General support is available Monday - Friday 8:00am-11:00pm ET and Crisis Support is available 24/7. You can also email Spring Health at careteam@springhealth.com.

Saint Alphonsus colleagues and eligible family members can see one of our Saint Alphonsus EAP counselors or another Spring Health provider in the community or online. A full list of Spring Health providers in your area can be found on the trinityhealth.springhealth.com website after you register for a Spring Health account.
