Saint Alphonsus and College of Western Idaho (CWI)
Partnering to Serve Our Communities
About the Program
Saint Alphonsus recognizes the importance of helping our communities through more than healthcare alone. We want to support the development of the people who live here. College of Western Idaho (CWI) is also committed to empowering our community, together we are partnering to provide opportunities for individuals who wish to expand their education and grow in their careers.
Work While You Learn
While attending class and taking advantage of the benefits Saint Alphonsus has to offer, you can gain invaluable experience within the healthcare industry! Don’t have a health-related license or certification? No problem. You can work in a non-patient care role while getting an inside perspective of the healthcare system. It is a great way to “get your foot in the door” and make connections, while figuring out which departments might be a good fit for you.
Scholarships & Support Services
Our partnership allows Saint Alphonsus to help fund the tuition of current colleagues who are taking healthcare related classes at CWI through our Upfront Tuition Scholarship or our Tuition Reimbursement Program. The incredible value and relatively low cost of CWI’s programs makes it easier than ever to advance your education through obtaining a certification or degree. Saint Alphonsus and CWI work closely together to ensure a seamless experience for anyone who wants to pursue a career in the healthcare industry. We have Career Counselors ready to help you sort through things like schedules, so you don’t have to stress.
CWI can help you gain the valuable knowledge and skills needed to begin your career – and Saint Alphonsus can give you a place to put your talents into work that matters.
If you’re not in a place to work while attending school, there is always a place for you at Saint Alphonsus once you complete your program. We’d love to stay in touch in the meantime!
