Even the Best Grandpas Need Medical Care
Even the “Best Grandpas Ever,” according to Ashley, Skip’s granddaughter, need medical care.
Harry "Skip" Tremblay underwent a transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) procedure in 2021 to replace the Aortic valve in his heart. From a CT scan, assessment of arteries, and identifying the appropriate valve size, Skip was scheduled for this life-saving minimally invasive procedure. The valve was placed perfectly, he was up and walking within hours, and went home the next day. He felt immediate symptom relief and was breathing easier. Skip found his two “super heroes” in Drs. Joe Walsh and Jeffery Heslop and is cured from his valvular heart disease. More time means more memories thanks to transcatheter aortic valve replacement.
Watch Skip's story below and be inspired by his journey back to good health thanks to the transcatheter aortic valve replacement procedure.
