New Year's Miracles at Saint Alphonsus

The New Year is a new chapter and for three Idaho and Eastern Oregon families, it brought new life.
Saint Alphonsus Medical Center – Nampa was the first hospital in our health system to welcome a baby in 2025. Born at our Nampa Birkeland Maternity Center, baby girl Seraya was welcomed into the world at 2:15 p.m. on January 1 by parents Miranda and Kevin.
Following Nampa’s baby girl, Saint Alphonsus Medical Center – Ontario welcomed a beautiful baby boy to ring in the new year with love and joy. Gael Calvillo Torres was born on January 2 at 7:05am, weighing 7lbs 3 oz. and 19.5 inches to parents Erika and Manuel.
Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center – Boise welcomed its first baby boy on January 2, 2025, at 5:10 AM weighing 7 lbs 10 oz and measuring 19 3/4 inches. Xaden Cook was welcomed by parents Savannah and Taylor.
Congratulations to our Saint Alphonsus families! We're honored to share in this joyful and beautiful moment with these families and wish them a future of health, love, and happiness.
