40th Anniversary of the Festival of Trees Rings in Treasure Valley Holiday Season
December 5, 2024The 40th Anniversary of the time-honored Festival of Trees ushered in the holiday season with something magical for everyone, with all proceeds benefitting the critically important work of the Saint Alphonsus Cancer Institute.
From November 26-December 2, the holiday event saw tens of thousands of attendees, thousands of volunteers, along with countless generous donors and sponsors.
Sponsors including Albertsons, Wells Fargo, CBH Homes, Idaho Central Credit Union, and Sterling Landscape made the magic come to life throughout the Festival's general exhibition and sold-out Gala and Fashion show, which collectively saw nearly 2,000 attendees.
This memorable ruby-year anniversary event brought together first-time attendees and generations of Festivalgoers to rejoice in the holiday season and successfully contribute to our mission of helping those in our community who are courageously battling cancer.
A special thank you to Tracey and Bill Mooney, Festival of Trees Chairs, for their unwavering leadership, countless hours, and deep commitment to our Mission to expand cancer care to our region. The duo guided our work throughout the Festival in this special anniversary year, and as a cancer survivor, Tracey shared her personal experience and offered hope to all facing a similar battle.
