As a talented Registered Nurse, you will play an integral role in shaping this program, working side-by-side with the state’s first fellowship trained, board-certified neuro intensivist in a next-level, neuro-specific unit.

We offer competitive wages, on-call pay, and shift differentials depending on work schedules. This is a self-scheduling unit.

As a RN working in this unit, you will:

  • Have an opportunity to work in a Level II Trauma Center and a Level I Comprehensive Stroke Center
  • Obtain experience working in the FIRST and ONLY Neuro, Surgical, Trauma Unit in Idaho
  • Work in a supportive environment while focusing on specialized neuro care
  • Work with innovative technology and equipment, including a portable CT Scanner
  • Work with the only board certified, fellowship-trained neuro critical care doctors in the state
  • Be part of a pioneering program in the Treasure Valley and Idaho
  • Provide next level care for critically ill neurological patients

What you can expect:

  • RN’s working in the Neuro, Surgical, Trauma ICU and Stepdown Unit will care for post operative patients along with patients with traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, seizures, strokes, and other neurological disorders
  • This will be a fast paced, high-pressure environment that will care for some of the area’s highest acuity neuro patients
  • To be part of a unit that consists of 18 critical care beds and 17 step down beds
  • The unit offers strong leadership and great opportunities for growth and advancement

What you will need to start work with us:

  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Idaho
  • BLS certification at date of hire
  • American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support for HealthCare Provider (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 12 months of hire
