More Providers. More Access. Same Trusted Care — Right Here in Nampa.

Saint Alphonsus is proud to announce the launch of the new Saint Alphonsus-MSI Family Medicine Residency Clinic, officially open as of July 1, 2025, at 215 E. Hawaii Ave, Suite 200, Nampa, Idaho. In partnership with the Mountain States Institute for Graduate Medical Education and Research (MSI), this program is designed to train the next generation of family medicine physicians while expanding access to high-quality, compassionate care for the community.

What Is a Residency Program?

A residency program is the next phase of training for physicians after medical school. Residents are licensed doctors who care for patients under the close guidance of experienced faculty. At the Saint Alphonsus-MSI Family Medicine Residency Clinic, our residents, in collaboration with MSI, will provide full-spectrum care for patients of all ages and backgrounds.

“This partnership with MSI allows us to combine academic rigor with real-world experience in a community-based setting,” said Dr. Ian Hotchkiss, Outpatient Residency Clinic Director. “It’s a unique model that benefits our patients, our residents, and our community.”

What This Means for Your Family

With the addition of resident physicians, the Saint Alphonsus-MSI Family Medicine Residency Clinic will offer increased appointment availability for families in the Nampa area. Whether it’s a same-week visit for a cold or long-term support for managing a chronic condition, our expanded team is here to serve you.

The clinic is built around comprehensive, whole-person care. From pediatric and adolescent care to adult and geriatric services, including women’s health and obstetrics, patients will receive coordinated care under one roof from both resident and faculty providers.

“We’ve worked hard to create a care environment where patients feel seen, heard, and supported,” said Tina Bossolono-Williams, NP. “This residency program brings more providers and more resources into our community without sacrificing the personalized care our patients expect.”

The Power of Partnership

Through our collaboration with the Mountain States Institute for Graduate Medical Education and Research, Saint Alphonsus is blending academic excellence with clinical innovation. MSI provides the educational foundation, while Saint Alphonsus offers a mission-driven, real-world training environment that enhances care for every patient we serve.

A Win for Our Community

Residency clinics often mean longer visits, more personalized care, and access to physicians trained in the latest medical practices. These benefits, combined with the oversight of experienced faculty, result in high-quality, patient-centered care.

The opening of the Saint Alphonsus-MSI Family Medicine Residency Clinic reflects our commitment to expanding access, training the next generation of providers, and improving the health of the communities we serve.

Book your visit today and experience the benefits of comprehensive care close to home.
